Learn About Our Church

Welcoming all God's people
Read More About Our Services

St. Peter is a bit unusual in today’s church world. A Christian church with over 100 years invested in this community, it cannot be described as either traditional or new wave. Because we welcome all God’s people however they come to us, our members reflect a great diversity of backgrounds and understandings of the Christian message. Liberal to conservative, and everyone in between, all are welcome here.

Who We Are

The root of our congregation
Read more about what makes Us, Us

A mid-size congregation, we are home to a true melting pot of people from Lake Zurich and the surrounding communities. We’re willing to lend a helping hand, give a hug when needed, and crack a joke much of the time. And we’re all struggling to live our faith as we have heard God speaking it. In other words, we’re much like you. Whoever you are, wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome among us.

What we Believe

We would love to see you next Sunday morning
Our faith is 2000 years old. Our thinking is not.

We believe in God's continuing testament. Religion and science are not mutually exclusive, and your head and heart are both welcomed into our places of worship. We prepare our members and leaders to be engaged in ministry in the present and future church, and we embrace all kinds of communities and new modes of thinking. Why?
Because God is still speaking.
